Male wrestler of the week goes to junior Devin Atencio out of Española Valley High School. Atencio had a great performance this past weekend wrestling seven matches at the Robertson Cardinal Classic which is considered to be one of the toughest tournaments of the season. Atencio left the tournament with an impressive record of 20-2. Ranked as the #3 wrestler in the state, adding the tournament win to his collection Atencio has shifted some momentum in his favor as the state tournament approaches.

This past weekend Archuleta continued to impress at the APS All-Girl Invitational as tournament champion. With a great performance and a flawless record Archuleta is a high favorite contender going into this years all-girl state tournament.
