Fabian Padilla capped off a fantastic wrestling career for the Caveman this past season. Padilla earned two state runner-up titles in 2017 & 2018. As a senior Padilla dominated the mat with an impressive state tournament performance, he defeated everyone he faced while hardly breaking a sweat. Not stopping there Padilla placed 6th at NHSCA Nationals capturing All-American honors this past spring in Virginia Beach, VA.
Rayana Vigil had a dominant performance at this years NMAA State Wrestling Championships. Vigil is a back to back State Champion at the 185-pound weight class. Setting herself away from the pack Vigil placed 7th at the USMC Girls Folk Style National Championships this spring as well. Earning All-American honors in the 180-pound weight class at the junior level.
Bradley Martinez has quietly been building his resume at the jr level. Martinez has been undefeated at his age division locally for the few short years he has been wrestling, winning back to back NM State titles. His hardware is not just adding up locally, Martinez has placed in ten national events. Bradley's most notable titles include a Reno World Championship, a West Coast National Championship, and an impressive 4th place finish at Tulsa Nationals just to name a few. Bradley's is a workhorse in the room, his motivation to improve is his strongest attribute.
Hartley Sanchez is a back to back NMJW State Champion. With a few years under her belt in the sport, Hartley has made her presence known. Hartley's shows very good mat awareness and aggression in competition while improving year by year. This young warrior brings the Iron every time she steps on the mat.
